Prince Harry will become the first member of the British royal family to take part in BRIT Awards ceremony. However, Harry will not appear live at the one of the most important events in the UK’s music industry. Instead he has recorded a special video message, in which he praises the ceremony and the charity provided by its organizers.
Speaking about BRIT Awards, Prince Harry said: «The BRITs is a celebration of all that is totally outstanding and unique about British music. And what’s less well known about the BRITs is the fantastic work it does raising millions of pounds for the BRIT Trust which has benefited thousands of young people to develop their talents and generally enrich our society».
The ceremony will take place on February 16 in London. It will feature performances by Lady Gaga, Jay-Z, Kasabian, Cheryl Cole, Lily Allen and Robbie Williams, who is set to receive Lifetime Achievement award.
