Radiohead and Elbow took part in charity auctionRadiohead, Elbow and a number of other artists donated items for the charity auction held by Music Beats Mines. This organization aims to raise money for people who suffered during wars all over the world. It also works to clear landmines, weapons and other remains of these conflicts.

The auction, which proceeds through MAGInternational.org website, has started yesterday, on November 26. It features a number of standard items, such as Elbow’s CD’s signed by the band or the original artwork for Radiohead’s 2000 album Kid A. At the same time, there are several unusual offers – for example, an hour on the grand piano at the Bridgewater Hall in Manchester.

Radiohead’ guitarist Ed O'Brien claimed that the band will definitely record new album in 2010. When O'Brien was asked to describe new record, he said that it would be «typical Radiohead».

The band’s last album In Rainbows hit the stores in 2007.
