Ringo Starr may record a duo with Paul McCartney and Bob DylanRingo Starr will join the possible collaboration between his former The Beatles bandmate Paul McCartney and Bob Dylan. «The word is Ringo is likely to play drums on a couple of tracks once Paul and Bob have put some songs together», an anonymous source which is close to McCartney told Daily Express newspaper.

The idea of this collaboration came up in May, when Dylan said he would be happy to record with ex-The Beatles’ member, and McCartney’s team has endorsed this idea. Speaking about probable collaboration, Bob Dylan claimed: «That would be exciting - to do something with Paul McCartney. But, you know, your paths have to cross for something like that to make sense».

Later a source close to McCartney said: «We heard the offer this morning and we're trying to let Paul know about it. I should think he would be very interested in hearing about it. As you can imagine, it would be a pretty major thing if it went ahead».

Dylan has recently released new album Together Through Life. Paul McCartney’s last disk Memory Almost Full hit the stores in 2007. In 2008, he released record Electric Arguments as a side project The Fireman.
