Robbie Williams announced the release of the new single which he recorded together with Gary Barlow, one of his former Take That bandmates. According to the reports, the track was co-written by both singers. Titled Shame, it is set to hit the stores on October 4.
The single precedes the release of Robbie Williams’ greatest hits compilation titled In And Out Of Consciousness – The Greatest Hits 1990-2010. The album is set to feature both Williams’ solo efforts and songs which he recorded together with Take That.
«It's incredible to listen to the album and realise that it’s already been 20 years of making music and playing gigs. And the great thing about the album is that it's not only a celebration of my past, but also a bridge to the future. The fact that part of the future includes a name from my past makes it all the more poignant for me», claimed Robbie Williams.
Robbie Williams’ last to date album Reality Killed The Video Star hit the stores in 2009.
