Guns N' Roses’ and Velvet Revolver’s guitarist Slash may launch a new band with German singer Engelbert Humperdinck and British keyboardist Dave Stewart. The trio has already performed at the Canadian TV show The Hour under the name Faster Disaster.
However, Slash did not confirm if they will perform together on regular basis or would be engaged in a studio work.
Rumors also say that Humperdinck may join Velvet Revolver as a new singer to replace Scott Weiland, who has left the band in 2008 to reunite with Stone Temple Pilots.
Slash is set to release solo album this April. Eponymous record will feature collaborations with different artists, including Iggy Pop, Maroon 5 singer Adam Levine, The Rolling Stones’ Ronnie Wood, Red Hot Chili Peppers’ bassist Flea, Led Zeppelin's drummer Jason Bonham and others.
