Slipknot are ready to record new album

Slipknot are ready to record new albumSlipknot percussionist Shawn Crahan claimed that the band's members are ready to record at least one more album. Earlier Slipknot men claimed that they do not know if they ever enter a studio together again. However, according to Crahan, the decision is finally made.

Percussionist also stated that the album's sound would be close to Slipknot second album Iowa.

"There's plans to make another record but that's a way off. No-one will push it, because it's going to be a big one. It'll be closer to Iowa, but it'll be sadder and crazier. And really thought provoking, it could even be conceptual", claimed he.

Earlier Slipknot frontman Corey Taylor claimed that he and his bandmates have doubts if they can record new album.

"It's still too soon, at least that's how I feel. I'm not ready to make a Slipknot album, I think there will be a day when we do, but, for me, doing it now wouldn't make sense. You can't do a three week tour then jump into the studio, especially after something like this. It makes more sense to do a few tours and reconnect as a band first", said Corey Taylor.

Slipknot last to date album All Hope Is Gone hit the stores in 2008.
