Slipknot thanked fans for their devotionSlipknot frontman Corey Taylor claimed that he would like to thank their fans for devotion to the band. Singer said that many of Slipknot original followers have grown up, but still continue to visit gigs and listen to the songs.

"Our original fans have grown up and done pretty well. They bring their families down to gigs now. We were father figures to a lot of them and helped guide them, which is a huge thing to say", added he.

Recently Slipknot percussionist Shawn Crahan claimed that the band's members are ready to record at least one more album. Earlier Slipknot men claimed that they do not know if they ever enter a studio together again. However, according to Crahan, the decision is finally made.

Percussionist also stated that the album's sound would be close to Slipknot second album Iowa.

Slipknot last to date album All Hope Is Gone hit the stores in 2008.
