Slipknot announced plans to re-release their second studio effort Iowa that originally hit the stores in 2001. New version will be released on Halloween, 31 October, and consist of two CDs.
The first one is set to include an album itself, as well as the additional track My Plague. The second one is set to feature live recording of Slipknot gig at the London Arena in 2001.
Reissue will also contain DVD with the movie about Slipknot, produced by the band's members.
Earlier Slipknot frontman Corey Taylor claimed that he and his bandmates have doubts if they can record new album. Earlier Taylor said that he "cannot see" Slipknot doing another record after the death of bassist Paul Gray, who was found dead in a hotel room in Des Moines, Iowa, in June 2010. However, now he believes that it may happen one day – but definitely not in the near future.
Slipknot last to date album All Hope Is Gone hit the stores in 2008.
