Soundgarden may reunite

Soundgarden may reuniteSoundgarden may reunite after their split up in 1997, although former singer Chris Cornell will not join the band. Other members of Soundgarden have already performed together at the Tom Morello’s solo gig, playing such old hits as Hunted Down, Nothing to Say and Spoonman.

This show took place only a week after Chris Cornell claimed that Soundgarden would never unite again. «We have an agreement that we will never tour Soundgarden - Soundgarden will never exist - without it being a unanimous decision and that everyone who was in the band is in the band», said he.

Soundgarden’s last album Down On The Upside hit the stores in 1996.

Chris Cornell himself has recently released new album Scream, produced by Timbaland. Ex-Soundgarden frontman compared his new record with Pink Floyd's album The Wall.
