The Flaming Lips to record 24-hour songThe Flaming Lips frontman Wayne Coyne revealed that they are going to record track that lasts for 24 hours. Earlier the band released song 6 hours long, but, according to the singer, they feel that they can "do more".

Talking about upcoming track, Wayne Coyne said: "It's a song about death and it's a song about sex and it's a song about life".

Coyne added that he would like to release the song in a special packages made of human skulls.

6-hours-song, Titled I Found This Star On The Ground, is set to be released later this autumn. All money raised with its help will be donated to charity organizations.

Wayne Coyne said that I Found This Star On The Ground sounds like "The Velvet Underground meets Super Mario Brothers".
