A guitar signed by rock stars including Eric Clapton and Mark Knopfler has been lost in the post. It was set to be auctioned for charity for the Rainbows children's hospice. It disappeard on the way from Knopfler's London office to Dave Allen, who is the organizator of this action.
The Fender Stratocaster was expected to fetch up to £20,000. It was signed by Bill Wyman from Rolling Stones, Brian May, Jimmy Page, Pete Townshend, Eric Clapton, Mark Knopfler. It took nearly a year for Allen to collect the signatures.
