The Killers want to turn to songs by others bandsThe Killers' Brandon Flowers claimed that the band will record an album of covers during this year. According to Flowers, his bandmates are currently considering which songs they want to include in the upcoming disk.

«It's something that we've always talked about doing and we're still talking about. It's difficult for each of us to pick songs that represent us as individuals. I mean, I have a lot of personalities myself! I've gone through everything from Neil Diamond to The Cars», said Flowers.

The Killers' drummer Ronnie Vanucci-jr. claimed that he would like to cover Genesis, Tom Waits, Iggy Pop and a couple of Fleet Foxes songs.

The Killers are currently on tour in support of their last album Day & Age released in November 2008.
