Smack My Bitch Up by The Prodigy has got the first place in the list of the most controversial tracks of all time. Based on the special poll by Performing Right Society association, which was held in Britain and USA, it also features such tracks as Rage Against The Machine's Killing In The Name, God Save The Queen by Sex Pistols and Marilyn Manson's Get You Gunn.
Speaking about the survey, Performing Right Society chairman Ellis Rich said: "These results demonstrate the link between music and society. Many of these songs have achieved iconic status because of the controversy or because the record was banned".

Smack My Bitch Up was released on The Prodigy's album The Fat Of The Land, which hit the stores in 1997. Their last studio effort Invaders Must Die went on sale in 2009.
