The Rolling Stones released rare song as a new singleThe Rolling Stones have released new single. Track Plundered My Soul was originally recorded in 1972 for the Exile In Main Street album. However, it was not included in the final tracklisting and was put in the band’s achieve for almost 30 years. But last week the track hit the stores on a 7-inch vinyl as a limited edition of only 1,000 copies.

Single was released to mark UK’s Record Store Day that is the celebration of independent record shops in Britain.

It has become a tradition that many artists release singles on Record Store Day. This year it was Lily Allen, Hot Chip, Babyshambles, Bat For Lashes and others. Also, two rare tracks by The Beatles, Paperback Writer and Rain, were reissued.

Blur recorded special song Fool's Day for the Record Store Day, which has become the band’s first original composition since the 2003’s single Good Song.
