The Strokes frontman Julian Casablancas revealed the cover of the band's upcoming album Angles (you can see it on the left). It is based on the painting by Belgian artist Guy Pouppez, who was famous for his abstract works in 1960's and 1970's.
Earlier The Strokes unveiled several artworks for Angles, but, according to Julian Casablancas, they all were just fakes.
This week The Strokes also released first single from upcoming album, titled Under Cover Of Darkness.
Earlier the band's bassist Nikolai Fraiture revealed that the sound of the record became a mix of The Strokes' two previous albums.
"Sonically, I feel it's the album which should have been made between 2003's Room On Fire and 2006's First Impressions Of Earth. It has our classic sound", claimed he.
