U2 revealed details about their upcoming album No Line On The Horizon. The band’s guitarist The Edge said that it was inspired by Led Zeppelin’s Jimmy Page and The White Stripes’ frontman Jack White, who he met during the recording of recent documentary It Might Get Loud.
«I was just fascinated with seeing how Jimmy played his riffs so simply, and with Jack as well», said he.
Bono added that No Line On The Horizon was also inspired by world events – for example, album track Cedars Of Lebanon will see him in the role of a war correspondent.
