U2 members had to shovel snow outside the stage door at the New York’s Ed Sullivan Theatre where the band was set to perform. It happened on May 2 – unseasonably heavy snow blanketed much of the upper-east coast of America yesterday, so Irish band had to work as wipers in front of fans.
Later, during the concert, U2 performed songs from their recent album No Line On The Horizon, including their first single Get On Your Boots and track Breathe that is considered to become the second single.
The band’s frontman Bono previously said U2 would record another album in 2009. According to Bono, it will become a «companion» to No Line On The Horizon, but it will be more «meditative and processional toned» than their latest release.
