Biography

A new rock band called Simple Plan appeared in Canada in late nineties. The time showed that the musicians got their worthy place among other representatives of Canadian rock scene. Alongside with Nickelback and SUM 41 they managed to deserve acknowledgment of listeners not only in North America, but in the whole world. The story of the band began in 1999 in the province of Québec, homeland of all the members of Simple Plan. When the line-up was finally formed, it was the time to think about the group’s name. There are several versions of “Simple Plan” origin, but probably the rockers named it after Sam Raimi’s movie “A Simple Plan”.
