Biography

The legendary rock band The Police was formed in late seventies in the capital of Great Britain. The Police became incredibly popular as a trio: the fourth member, guitarist Henry Padovani, left the band during the first stages of their development, and his place was taken by Andy Summers. In spite of the fact that at these years the major popularity was taken by progressive rock and symphonic rock, the trio was confidently walking their own way. The Police’ compositions found their listeners in practically no time, and the trio got the well-deserved status of first representatives of a “new wave”, who achieved world fame and acknowledgement.
